The Drinks:
Grape Martini
6 ish grapes per drink (we used deep purple grapes, some suggest mixing green and purple)
½ oz sugar syrup
2 oz vodka
Ice
Muddle grapes with syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and vodka. Shake vigorously, strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a grape on a wooden skewer.
Rating: 7.5
Best Quip:
Like drinking nectar from the bottom of a fruit bowl. Potpourri without the crunch!
Berry Collins
2 tablespoons blueberries
½ oz sugar syrup
1 ½ oz gin
½ oz cranberry juice or lemonade
Ice
Muddle the blueberries with sugar syrup in cocktail shaker. Add ice, gin, juice. Shake vigorously and pour into a glass, top up with juice to taste.
Note: We found canned blueberries in light syrup, used this in place of sugar syrup, and put a few berries in the bottom of each glass for glamour.

Best Quips:
What a muddle indeed! A Tom Collins with berries!! Love it!
Sloshing the blueberries into my mouth was the highlight as I hate gin due to a childhood accident.
Manhattan
2 oz whiskey
1 oz sweet vermouth
A cherry
Mix whiskey and vermouth, stir with ice. Strain and garnish with a cherry.
Rating: 7
Best quips:
A drink with a New York attitude. A little stranger than the average Manhattan. The cherry leapt out of the glass and called me a motherf***er!
Drier than Gandhi’s flip flop.
Whiskey Sour
¾ oz lemon juice
½ teaspoon sugar
1 ½ oz whiskey
Shake with ice, add slice of orange for garnish.
Rating: 6.5
Best Quips:
A face tightener!
Who needs plastic surgery with a drink like this!
Amaretto Café
1 ½ oz Amaretto
1 ½ oz crème de café
Milk
Ice
Shake amaretto and crème de café together on ice, strain into glass, add milk to taste.
This is similar to a white Russian but very sweet, we had to use a lot of milk, and I would even add some vodka to give it a bit more kick. It’s a big hit with the sweet tooth in the crowd. Also, try a bit of cinnamon on top!
Rating: 8
Best Quips:
Like a liquid Christmas cake.
This is a coffee I’d like to wake up to!
